Academico Do Sal Hostel - Espargos

Academico Do Sal is my go-to place in Espargos. Never regret my choice - staff helped me with a bottle of water on first stay. Has everything I need - Wi-Fi, off-site car park, laundry, poolside snack bar, restaurant, welcome drink. Coming back for holiday!

The rooms at Academico Do Sal were perfect for me, as a nature lover. I had a balcony with a breathtaking mountain view, which made me feel like I was in direct touch with nature. The private entrance to my single room added an extra touch of privacy and tranquility.

Some may find that the rooms at Academico Do Sal lack a little variety, as they all have a private bathroom. However, I still found it convenient and comfortable.

The location of the hotel was great, especially for business travelers like myself. It was conveniently situated near important government services and within walking distance to shops and a supermarket. the free WiFi was reliable and allowed me to stay connected while working. there was a bread shop nearby that served a delicious breakfast at a reasonable price.

there was a lack of communication upon arrival, as there was no one at the door even though I had informed them of my arrival time. This resulted in an inconvenient wait outside in the dark.

I absolutely loved the warm and cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The decoration had a charming vintage touch, which made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and had lovely seating areas where I could relax and socialize with other guests. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was. The staff was always ready to assist me and the facilities were designed with my comfort in mind.

I would suggest having more assistance available for senior people.
